Wadboo Creek
Exciting history and striking views make for ideal kayaking along the Cooper River. Paddle the area where “The Swamp Fox,” General Francis Marion, beat back a British attack during the Revolutionary War. Cool down on the Upper Wadboo Creek tour where Cypress and Tupelo trees provide deep shade. See 30’ tall limestone bluffs, Great Blue Herons and wild hogs.
The Twice the Fun tour includes the upper and lower creek where we paddle among tall marsh grass and abandoned rice fields. Beautiful flowers, wading birds, turtles, Osprey and Bald Eagles are found on both sides of the creek.
The full day tour explores both creek sides and the interior of the rice fields. Located a mile from Moncks Corner and a short drive from Mt. Pleasant, Goose Creek and Summerville.
