Kayak Fishing on Santee Cooper Lakes and Charleston Lowcountry

We offer kayak fishing in fresh water on the Santee Cooper lakes . We use Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 Anglers, Tarpon 130X Anglers, and Pungo 140 Angler kayaks. You may be able to stand up in the Tarpon 130X for fly fishing and sight fishing. The Tarpons are pictured and are sit-on tops. The Pungo 140 Angler is great for a father/son outing.

The boats are outfitted with Shimano Sojourn spinning combo, Penn Fierce spinning combo and Abu Garcia’s Black Max bait casting combo.  I also provide an Extra Sport Osprey PDF and Werner paddles. Each boat has an anchor trolley with a stake out pole and a light weight anchor. There are lots of rod holders on each boat so if you have your own rods or a favorite that always lands the big one, bring it along. We provide a soft tackle box and lures for the particular type of fishing we do in each boat.

I have been fishing for 25 years in the Santee Cooper lakes and have spent over 10 years fishing Charleston area marshes. In fresh water, we fish for Bass, Crappie, and Bream. Cats, and Strippers can be had if weather and conditions allow us to kayak in the big water. Kayak fishing is  a great way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Come join us.
